BCCI announces Indian Team for ICC World Cup 2019


NF Bureau:  The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) has announced India’s Squad for the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, which is going to kick off in England from May 30.

While Dinesh Karthik and Vijay Shankar were included in India’s squad, Indian selectors have left out 21-year old wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 squad.

India has gone in with three spinners and three pacers.

The Indian squad for the World Cup is as follows:-

Virat Kohli (Captain), Rohit Sharma (Vice Captain), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Vijay Shankar, MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav, Dinesh Karthik, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah ,Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohd Shami.
