NF Bureau: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who was in Odisha on Sunday to attend a rally of party workers, has categorically said that BJP is not trying to form Government, but working hard to build the nation. While assuring strong action against the perpetrators of Pulwama terror attack, Rajnath said that sacrifice of Martyrs won’t go in vain.
Rajnath attended the public rally at Ranital in Bhadrak along with Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He paid tributes to the martyrs of India’s freedom struggle at Eram in Bhadrak district. Eram is known as the ‘Rakta Tirtha’ (The Pilgrim of Blood), where 29 people were martyred on September 28, 1942.
While hailing Odisha’s contribution to India’s freedom struggle, Rajnath recalled the Legends of Odisha and also paid homage to martyr CRPF jawans Prasnna Kumar Sahoo and Manoj Behera who attained martyrdom in Pulwama on February 14.
Rajnath lashed out at the Congress and Rahul Gandhi over his Rafale deal allegations and ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ jibe, saying “Chowkidar is Pure, will be PM again for Sure and will Cure all the problems. “India will become the world’s 3rd powerful country by 2030. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, India will become a Vishwa Guru”, he added.
He also criticised the ruling BJD government in Odisha and wondered why Odisha is lagging behind in development despite having a stable government for two decades.
Rajnath slammed Odisha Govt for not implementing the Ayushman Bharat scheme and failing the farmers in the State by not giving them the adequate MSP.
