NF Bureau: Putting all rumours and speculations into rest, the Congress has confirmed that former Congress President Sonia Gandhi will contest the Lok Sabha polls from her traditional seat Rae Bareli, while Congress President Rahul Gandhi will contest from his own seat – Amethi.
The Congress has released a list of 15 candidates out of which 11 are from Uttar Pradesh and 4 from Gujarat. Although it’s not yet known whether PM Modi will contest from Vadodara or not this time, Congress has fielded Prashant Patel from this seat.
