In order to meet the scarcity of Doctors, Government should set up more medical colleges and ensure quality education.
Sujata Padhy: Implementation of Ayushman Bharat Yojana is necessary for Odisha. The State should put ego and politics aside while taking the decision in the larger interest of common people.
Gyan Ranjan: The Govt must try to understand the sentiments of Doctors, as they hold the key to improvement in healthcare services. Doctors should be posted nearer to their place of residence. They should be properly intimated well in advance about any remote/out of home district posting. Expertise of PG Doctors should be properly utilised. No preferential treatment should be given to a select few.
Kumar Jitendra: Geographic inaccessibility of health services, cultural barriers restricting the demand for healthcare, ignorance of health practices, poor service quality, and heavy reliance on informal health providers are few of the features of the health ecosystem in Odisha. These things should be done at the earliest & implementation of Ayushman Bharat is must.
