NF Bureau: The Congress, in the late night yesterday, has released another list of 35 Lok Sabha candidates, including 2 for Odisha. Techie-turned-Politician and son of former Odisha Minister Ramachandra Ulaka, will contest from Koraput Lok Sabha seat, while Samarendra Mishra, son of veteran Congress leader Narasingha Mishra, has been fielded from Bolangir Lok Sabha seat. Interestingly, Narasingha Mishra will contest from Bolangir Assembly seat.
Similarly, while Bhakta Charan Das is contesting from Kalahandi Lok Sabha seat, his son Sagar Charan Das is contesting from Bhawanipatna Assembly seat.
The Congress has also released another list of 54 MLA candidates. Nabin Nanda, who recently joined the party, has been fielded from Dhenkanal assembly seat. Other prominent faces include Ripunath Seth (Bijepur), Muktikant Biswal (Rourkela), Jayadev Jena (Anandpur), Biplab Jena (Angul), Surendra Singh Bhoi (Titlagarh), Uma Ballav Rath (Athagarh), Mohammed Moquim (Barabati-Cuttack), Ganeshwar Behera (Kendrapara), Devendra Sharma (Aul), Anshuman Mohanty (Rajnagar), Chiranjib Biswal (Jagatsinghpur), Prasad Harichandan (Satyabadi), Suresh Routray (Jatani), K Surya Rao (Paralakhemundi), Kailash Kulesika (Laxmipur) and Chandrasekhar Majhi (Kotpad).
Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda’s wiffe Subhashree Panda will contest from Ranapur.
