CRPF Jawan kills 3 Colleagues in a Fratricide in Udhampur


NF Bureau: In a shocking development today, a CRPF jawan opened fire at his colleagues in a camp at Udhampur in Jammu, killing 3 of them. The jawan shoots himself after the incident. He has been admitted to hospital in a critical condition.

It was a case of fratricide. All the CRPF personnel are from 187 battalion. The incident occurred at Battal Balia area of Udhampur district. Exact reason behind the shooting is not yet known.

The deceased CRPF Jawans have been identified as Head Constable Pokharmal (Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan), Head Constable Joginder Singh (Maujpur, Delhi) and Head Constable Umed Singh (Rewari, Haryana). The accused has been identified as Constable Ajeet Singh.
