NF Bureau: The Election Commission of India on Sunday approved the appointment of Director General (DG) of Fire Services, Home Guards and Civil Defence, Bijay Kumar Sharma as the new DGP In-charge of Odisha.
This new appointment comes after incumbent DGP Rajendra Prasad Sharma has gone on leave following his wife’s death on Sunday morning.
