For Pakistani Passenger, Emergency Exit Door was a Toilet


Nation First News: In a bizarre incident, a female passenger on board a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Manchester to Islamabad, opened the Emergency Exit Door, mistaking it as a door to Toilet.

The incident occurred on Friday night when the plane was preparing to take off. The PIA Flight, PK 702, was delayed by seven hours, as the emergency chute was activated when the woman opened the Emergency door.

As per the rules, all passengers and their luggages were offloaded. A probe has been ordered into the incident. Deploying an emergency slide costs an ariline between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 20 lakh.
