After beating South Africa by 6 wickets in the first match, India scored a 36-run victory over defending champions Australia in the second game at Kennington, Oval tonight.
A determined Team India left no stones unturned to put a good total on board when they scored 352/5 in 50 overs. Shikhar Dhawan scored his 23rd ODI hundred. He made 117. Skipper Virat Kohli made 82. Rohit Sharma (57), Hardik Pandya (48) and Dhoni (27) were the other contributors. Stoinis took 2 wickets for Australia.
The Kangaroos tried their best, but the target was huge and they had to give in. They bowled out for 316 in 50 overs. Warner (56), Finch (36), Smith (69), Khawaja (42), Maxwell (28) and Carey (55) were the top scorers. Bhuvneshwar & Bumrah took 3 wickets each, while Chahal took 2 wickets.
